The Anita is a parasisal straw cloche. Inspired by the 1920s American silent film actress Anita Pomares, this a great hat that will brighten up any special spring or summer occasion. Each hand-blocked cloche is one-of-a-kind with an adjustable headband inside. I collect vintage broaches to decorate each one in a unique style and use the broach to inspire me when I make it. Offered here are 3 colors to welcome spring. It can also be made in white, navy, black, and gray.

To determine your head size use a soft measuring tape. Place it just above your eyebrows where a hat would sit. Run the tape around your head to meet the front. This will measure the widest part of your head and give you your head size. Take the measurement 2-3 times to be sure the size is correct and to insure a perfect fit. If you don't have a soft measuring tape use a ribbon to mark your circumference than lay it out on a ruler.
